This amazing and on point colouring technique involves painting the hair; sweeping on your chosen colour with a brush. The technique creates intermittent highlights that look like gentle subtle strokes of paint. Traditionally close and soft at the root and thicker and bolder at the ends of the hair.

One of the main benefits of this style is that it doesn’t require as much upkeep as more traditional methods of colouring. The blended, natural finish grows out beautifully in between salon visits and can be maintained with glossing treatments to give you months of great hair.

Ever since I was young, I have had a passion for hair and this drove me to work my way up from Apprentice to Management level within the industry in a relatively short space of time.

At 23 years old, I founded The Uber Salon Ltd after managing the salon under the previous business and, since then, I have grown it every year to where we are today. We are now in the top 1% of independent UK salons in terms of turnover which is no mean feat.

My mission has not only been to create fabulous hair for all ages but to do it in the most relaxed and friendliest of atmospheres. In fact, The Uber Salon has often been described, by both clients and staff, as having a similar vibe to a chic cocktail bar.

My success led me to expand the business in 2018 and create Beauty at the Uber Ltd. Together with my friend and renowned artist, Amy, we designed the interior and she added her stamp on the magical flower power nail area. It is regularly referred to as ‘every girl’s dream’ and, I know it sounds cliché, but really does have to be seen to be believed. Like The Uber Salon, the business is growing year on year and we are always adding to our offering of specialist treatments with premium brands.

It gives me great pride and happiness to have created two unique and sophisticated salons which have also allowed me to express my other passion for Interior Design. I actually get a sense of fulfilment when clients are lifted by their whole experience at Uber.
